Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced that the N20 reduction in the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is a gesture of appreciation to Nigerians.
Tribune Online reports that the company, in a statement issued on Sunday by its Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, stated that the price of PMS has been reduced from N990 per litre to N970 per litre for marketers.
Explaining the rationale behind the decision, the refinery stated that the move is both a token of gratitude to Nigerians for their unwavering support and an acknowledgement of the government’s efforts in fostering a conducive environment for domestic enterprises.
The statement also addressed concerns about fuel supply, assuring the public that the refinery is committed to increasing production to meet and exceed domestic consumption needs.
The company, however, reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards and delivering products that are both environmentally friendly and sustainable.
