NOG Holds Conference to Enhances Nigeria’s Energy Mix, Sustainability

In order to discuss strategies for decarbonization and a sustainable energy future, the premier international Nigeria Oil and Gas (NOG) Energy Conference and Exhibition kicked off on Monday in Abuja with industry professionals in attendance.
The conference brings together subject matter experts from the industry to talk about how to enhance Nigeria’s energy mix and to include stakeholders, financiers, investors, and the private sector in all aspects of energy.
This year’s conference, with the theme “Powering Nigeria’s Sustainable Energy Future,” is expected to conclude on July 13.
Malam Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), opened the conference by stating that it brought together decision-makers, regulators, specialists, and business leaders to debate Nigeria’s crucial energy agenda.
The conference will cover policy implementation, project developments, investments, and possibilities, according to Kyari, who was represented by Adokiye Tombomieye, Executive Vice President, Upstream, NNPC Ltd.
He said that it will bring answers to existing business problems, such how to decarbonize the nation’s historic oil and gas activities.
The GCEO stated that initiatives to boost industrial operations, encourage global alliances, and raise investment flows into the nation will be discussed during the current NOG conference.
According to Kyari, the previous Nigeria Oil and Gas (NOG) Conference and Exhibition would promote international discussion, engagement, and business transactions in the sector.
He said that the conference’s narrative has been modified to examine how the nation may energise its global energy mix as it travels its energy development pathway supported by “The Decade of Gas.”
